Verified Surgeons is an informational and accountability platform. Its content does not replace medical advice, a consultation with a qualified clinician, or a patient’s own due diligence.
2. Sources and verification
We prioritize first-party and authoritative sources appropriate to the claim, including government licensing databases, professional certification bodies, official institutional records, court or regulatory records, peer-reviewed research, and public-health agencies. Sources are identified on the relevant page where practical.
A verification statement is limited to the specific fact, source, and date shown. It does not guarantee future standing, competence, safety, or a treatment outcome. When a source cannot confirm a point, the page should describe that limitation instead of implying certainty.
Verification is a documented factual check, not an endorsement or recommendation.
3. Claims, reports, and labels
Documented facts, analysis, and user-submitted accounts must be distinguishable. Reports, complaints, reviews, and patient-submitted materials are attributed and presented as allegations, accounts, opinions, or evidence from the submitting party; they are not findings of guilt by Verified Surgeons.
Headlines, summaries, metadata, and structured data should accurately reflect the page and should not exaggerate the underlying evidence. Material uncertainty, incomplete checks, conflicting sources, and pending responses should be disclosed where relevant.
4. Editorial and medical review
Verified Surgeons’ research and editorial team prepares and maintains site content. A page is not represented as medically reviewed unless that page identifies the qualified reviewer and the scope or date of the review. Publication by Verified Surgeons does not itself mean that a physician has reviewed every clinical statement.

5. Independence and conflicts
Payment does not buy a favorable verification result, the alteration or suppression of a report, or a guaranteed profile outcome. Any commercial relationship that could reasonably affect a reader’s interpretation should be disclosed on the relevant page.
Surgeons and other named parties may provide evidence and request corrections or a reply. Their participation does not give them editorial control over documented facts or third-party accounts.
6. Updates, corrections, and right of reply
We update material when new, credible evidence changes or clarifies the record. A material editorial revision should update the page’s visible date and machine-readable modification date. Minor typographical or formatting changes may be made without a separate notice.
If you believe a page is inaccurate or incomplete, submit the exact URL, disputed statement, requested correction, and supporting documentation through our documented process or by email. We may correct, annotate, add context, publish a reply, or decline a request with a stated reason.
