Source-checked surgeon verification
Disclaimer · v1.0

What verified means — and what it doesn’t.

Verified Surgeons publishes source-checked information so patients can make their own informed decisions. This page explains the limits of that information, how reports and user evidence are presented, and how anyone named here can request a correction or reply.

What we are

Verified Surgeons is an independent informational and accountability platform operated by Verified Surgeons LLC (Arizona, USA). We compile, document, and publish source-checked information about surgeons — including identity, credentials, clinic context, and reported conduct — from public records, official registries, and material submitted by users and third parties.

What “verified” means

“Verified” describes a defined factual check performed as of a stated date — confirmation of specific public information such as licensure, board certification, and known public sanctions. It is not a recommendation, endorsement, guarantee of competence, or assurance of any treatment outcome, and a verified status can change over time.

The absence of a profile, or any limitation noted on a profile, is not a statement about any surgeon. Profiles show both what is verified and what remains limited.

Reports & user-submitted evidence

Reports, complaints, reviews, and other user-submitted material reflect the accounts, opinions, and evidence of the people who provide them, are presented as such, and are not findings of guilt or the opinion of Verified Surgeons LLC. We document and publish information consistent with our Editorial Policy, and the people who submit material are responsible for it.

Not medical or legal advice

Nothing on this Service is medical, surgical, legal, or other professional advice, and using it creates no doctor–patient, attorney–client, or other professional relationship. Choosing a surgeon or a treatment is your own decision and responsibility. Always consult a qualified professional and do your own due diligence.

Corrections & right of reply

If you are a surgeon or other party and believe information here is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request a correction or publish a reply through our documented process. We evaluate documented requests in good faith and may correct, annotate, publish your reply, or decline with a stated reason.

We accept no payment to add, alter, suppress, or remove any profile or report. Legal threats or harassment do not expedite review and may themselves be documented and published.
